In this panel event, students will have the opportunity to hear from UMD alumni who looked outside of the traditional Silicon Valley tech industry to build successful careers in tech. Panelists will share advice on how to seek opportunities across non-tech industries, navigate the application process, and share insights into their day-to-day lives in technical teams working toward a variety of missions.
This panel is great for all students interested in tech roles, regardless of year or major. Students across information science, computer science, mathematics, and more may find this panel helpful.
