Join the University Career Center for an interactive workshop designed to help students approach job offers with greater confidence and clarity.

Join the University Career Center for an interactive workshop designed to help students approach job offers with greater confidence and clarity. Students will learn how to evaluate key parts of an offer, including salary, benefits, and other factors that can shape their decision-making. The session will also explore when and why negotiation may be appropriate, common questions about the negotiation process, and strategies for communicating professionally and effectively. Students will leave with practical tools to assess offers thoughtfully and navigate negotiations with greater confidence.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:

  • Identify key components of a job offer, including salary, benefits, and other important considerations.
  • Evaluate whether an offer aligns with your needs, priorities, and goals.
  • Apply strategies for preparing for and approaching salary or offer negotiations professionally.
